Kristina Leko: Denkmäler für die Leute vom Volkertviertel
A communication project in cooperation with: Rukye Basol, Martin Braunstorfer, Marlene Fink, Patrick Graf, Miranda Jusufi, Stefan Marx, Mag. Claudia Pfohl, Sebastian Ploll, Rachel Rashed, Daniel Schamschula, Oliver Schreilechner, Melanie Schubert, Filiz Soylu, Mag. Elisabeth Wagner, Mag. Eva Wedl und Claudia Zawrel (BRG Vereinsgasse, SPZ Holzhausergasse, KMS Pazmanitengasse)

Kristina Leko has developed a project which deals with the experience of immigration and multicultural living. The artist comes from Croatia and now she is living in Cologne in Germany. With students from twelve to seventeen years, she has compiled showcase CVs on the basis of interviews. She then visualizes them as written stories in the form of large surface text pictures on house walls.
